Vinayak Prabhu

Vinayak Prabhu is an experienced finance professional currently serving as an Assistant Vice President at Mizuho since September 2024. Previously, Vinayak held the position of Senior Stress Testing Analyst at Flagstar Bank, where responsibilities included reviewing model assumptions for the NYCB 2024 Capital Plan and modeling scenario-based EUCs. With a strong background at UBS as Associate Director, Vinayak managed multiple FR Y-14 submissions and addressed discrepancies in data. Prior experience includes automating regulatory reports at Adenza, performing regulatory consulting at KPMG, and contributing to process improvements during an externship at FINRA. Vinayak has a solid educational background with an M.S. in Quantitative Finance from Rutgers Business School, a PGDM in Finance and Marketing from T A Pai Management Institute, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology.
