Deborah Jacob

Deborah Jacob has extensive experience in corporate security and leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Nevada Governor's Office of Economic Development since September 2024, Jacob is also the Owner and Chair of the Board at MJS Packaging, a position held since January 2000. Prior to these roles, Jacob was a Corporate Security Manager at Bechtel Corporation from 1998 to 2007, where responsibilities included managing security for Asia and South America, as well as acting as the security director worldwide during the 9/11 crisis. Additional significant roles include serving as a Senior Fellow at the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Enforcement from 1995 to 1996, and as Worldwide Corporate Security Director at Bank of America from 1993 to 1995. Jacob began their career at Security Pacific Corp, holding the position of Senior Vice President from 1979 to 1993, and was part of the President’s Roundtable of Terrorist Experts at The White House from 1981 to 1987.
