Haipeng Liu

Haipeng Liu has extensive experience in the manufacturing and engineering field, currently serving as a Principal Manufacturing Engineer at MKS Instruments since December 2015. In this role, Haipeng oversees manufacturing processes, tooling, assembly procedures, and program management for complex opto-mechanical systems, including managing pilot manufacturing and the transition to volume manufacturing. Previously, Haipeng worked as an Optical Engineer Intern at Newport Corporation, where responsibilities included designing tests and optimizing optical systems using ZEMAX. Academic qualifications include an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, a Master of Science in Electro-Optics from the University of Dayton, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Optical Engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
