Donny Donoghue

Donny Donoghue is an experienced design professional specializing in urban planning and landscape architecture. Currently serving as a Design Associate at Alta Planning + Design since June 2017, Donny has held various positions including Planner/Designer at site design group, ltd. and Urban Designer at Macleod Reckord. Additional roles include Researcher & Designer at Framework Cultural Placemaking and Landscape Designer at SAA Design Group, showcasing expertise in design, illustration, construction documents, and planning support. Donny began a career in landscape architecture with internships and assistant roles at Ken Saiki Design and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where skills in 3D modeling, graphic illustration, and campus planning were developed. Donny holds a Master of Urban Planning in Urban Design from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
