Matej Pirc

Matej Pirc is the current President of the Supervisory Board at Mladinska knjiga Zalozba d.d. and has held various management positions at various companies throughout their career.

Pirc started their career at A.T. Kearney in February 2016 as a Director, where they focused on real estate, M&A and corporate governance. In August 2017, Pirc left A.T. Kearney to join DUTB, d.d. as their CFO. Pirc was with DUTB until January 2019 when they left to join Mladinska knjiga Zalozba d.d. as their President of the Supervisory Board.

Pirc has also served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board for Krka from August 2015 to July 2016 and GEN energija, d.o.o. from August 2013 to July 2016. Additionally, Pirc was the President of the Management Board at Slovenski državni holding, d.d. (Slovenian Sovereign Holding) from June 2014 to November 2015 and a Member of the Management Board at Slovenska odškodninska družba d.d. (Slovenian Restitution Fund) from May 2013 to March 2014.

Matej Pirc graduated from the University of Ljubljana - Faculty of Economics with a degree in accounting and finance.
