Donald W. Perkins

Donald W. Perkins has been a Director since 2005. He is the President of Gulf of Maine Research Institute, Portland, Maine. He holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Dartmouth College where he graduated with High Distinction, Magna Cum Laude. He is a Tucker Foundation Fellow and Rufus Choate Scholar. Mr. Perkins also holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he received the Ernest R. Arbuckle Award. He is a past Co-Chair of the Governor’s Ocean Energy Task Force and is a past appointee to the Governor’s Task Force on Planning and Development of Aquaculture in Maine. Mr. Perkins was the recipient of the 1992 Gulf of Maine Visionary Award and the 1991 Maine Audubon Society Environmental Award.
