Stephen Shinol

Stephen Shinol currently serves as a Staff Security Engineer at Modern Health since November 2021, following a progression to Senior Security Engineer. Prior experience includes three years at Praetorian, where roles included Senior Security Engineer and Security Engineer, specializing in security assessments for web and mobile applications, cloud environments, and DevSecOps pipelines. Earlier in Stephen's career, significant contributions were made as a Software Engineer at InQuest, focusing on malware detection and backend development. Stephen also held a summer internship as a Mechanical Engineer at Update International Inc., where major enhancements to a digital database and instrument calibration for vibration analysis were completed. Stephen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, earned in 2016.
