Founded in 1954, Mokwon University has strong confidence in Christian values for society. We hold the realization of these values as our highest educational goal: that is, cultivating persons of integrity.

* Educational Idea
Mokwon’s educational ideal is based on the endless pursuit of truth of truth and an unflagging belief in it, an ardent love of country, church, mankind and finally rendering service to them as concrete embodiment of that love. This ideal parallels our national and traditional educational goal which is ‘Hong-ik-in-gan’, a devotion to the welfare of mankind.

* Educational Objective
The objective of the University is to cultivate competent persons who can contribute to the various fields of society by teaching advanced academic theories and by researching application methods for the development of the nation and humanity.

* Educational Aims
1.To foster Christian leaders who contribute to this country and mankind.
2.To foster professional people who can creatively meet the future needs of society.
3.To foster world-renowned figures who cherish national independence.
