Valentin Tomek

Valentin Tomek is an experienced professional in transport and logistics management, currently serving as the Transport & Logistics Manager and Regional Lead Buyer for Transport at Mondi Group since August 2017. Responsibilities include road transport procurement for Austria, Germany, Benelux, and Scandinavia, as well as managing ocean business for various European sites. Previously, Valentin held roles as a Procurement Analyst and Junior Analyst within Mondi, focusing on sourcing execution, tender management, and supplier management. Valentin gained initial experience as a Transport & Logistics Intern at Se2 Solutions Service Security GmbH and completed a brief internship at Mondi Korneuburg. Additionally, Valentin served as a Radio Operator in the Austrian Armed Forces. Academically, Valentin holds a Master of Arts in Logistics & Transport Management from Fachhochschule des BFI Wien and a Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration from WU Vienna University of Economics and Business, complemented by a study experience at the University of Alberta.
