Ardjuna Candotti

Ardjuna Candotti serves as an educator at the Rijksmuseum since April 2023 and has held the position of adviseur at Mondriaan Fonds since January 2021, contributing to various advisory committees focused on art, heritage, and the commemoration of slavery history. As a freelance museum professional with Museum Learning, Research & Consultancy since 2020, Ardjuna specializes in concept development, project management, and educational programming within the museum and heritage sector. Previous roles include advising the Ministry of Health, Welfare, and Sport on the historical knowledge of former Dutch East Indies and managing projects at Imagine IC and the Indisch Herinneringscentrum. Ardjuna holds a cum laude MA in Cultural Heritage: Museum Studies and a BA in Cultural Studies from the University of Amsterdam, with a strong focus on themes such as colonialism, migration, and urban diversity.
