Raul Balai

Raul Balai is a visual artist and curator currently serving as the Chair of Advisory Committees at the Mondriaan Fonds and as a Chairman of the Supervisory Board for Don't hit mama. With prior experience as an Advisor at the Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunst from 2019 to September 2022 and as a Partner at Het IJzeren Gordijn from 2006 to 2017, Raul Balai has a strong background in visual communication and graphic design. Raul Balai holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Commercial Art, and Imaging from Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht, completed in January 2006.
