Latoya Abulu is an accomplished editor and writer with extensive experience in Indigenous news and environmental issues. Currently serving as Editor of Indigenous News and Contributing Editor at Mongabay since April 2020, Latoya develops editorial content and features related to Indigenous peoples and their rights. Previous roles include Managing Editor at Arts Help, Translator for Initiative for Equality - Batwa Support Committee, Technical Secretariat at Docip for the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, and Assistant Project Manager at JUCCCE, where project management and curriculum development were key responsibilities.
