At TIAA-CREF, Alejandro managed the Agency MBS, ABS, and CMBS portion of five total rate of return bond funds (~$6.5B) benchmarked against the Bloomberg Barclays Aggregate Index. Alejandro was responsible for assessing relative value and determining sector weightings for all securitized assets, as well as conducting individual security analysis and presenting monthly performance attribution to senior management.
Alejandro Aguilar has an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Alejandro is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute.
