Abigail Landis

Abigail Landis is a Parks Activation Specialist at the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission since March 2020, responsible for coordinating events in Montgomery County, MD, establishing relationships for permits, scheduling staff, managing event vendors, and overseeing inventory and vehicle maintenance. Prior to this role, Abigail served as Activities Camp Director and Programming Promotions Associate at JTCC for six years, where responsibilities included lesson plan creation, marketing for summer camps, staff oversight, and development of a Special Olympics program. Abigail also worked as a Museum Teacher at the National Building Museum, teaching architecture and urban planning concepts to school groups. Abigail holds a Bachelor of Arts in American History from the University of Maryland, obtained in 2014.
