Director Of The Atlanta Studio at Moody Nolan

Garfield Peart, MBA, AIA, NOMA, USAF (Ret.) is an accomplished architect and educator currently serving as the Director of the Atlanta Studio at Moody Nolan since August 2023. Peart holds a position as an Adjunct Professor at Kennesaw State University in the College of Architecture and Construction Management and is an active Georgia State Councilor for the American Institute of Architects. Contributions extend to the GT College of Design Advisory Board and the Architects Foundation Scholarship Committee. Previous leadership at Syntony Design Collaborative, LLC, as President, focused on sustainable design for underserved communities. Peart has also served on the Board of Trustees for the Atlanta Preservation Center and the Advisory Council of the National Public Housing Museum. Extensive municipal experience with the City of Atlanta includes roles in the Atlanta Urban Design Commission and as Program Management Officer for the RENEW ATLANTA Infrastructure Bond Program. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Architecture from Howard University and an MBA in Sustainable Business from Marylhurst University.
