Igor Escobar

Igor Escobar is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in multiple technologies and software development methodologies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at MoonPay since June 2023, Igor also founded ImageBoss in April 2018, specializing in content-aware image processing with a remarkable capacity of processing over 11 billion images annually. Previous roles include significant contributions as a Senior Software Engineer at New10, Cazoo, and Volkswagen Digital Solutions, focusing on serverless architecture and various programming languages including TypeScript, Node.js, and Python. With additional expertise gained as a Lead Software Engineer at Drover and experience across several other companies, Igor has developed a strong foundation in cloud computing, CI/CD, and event-driven architecture. Igor holds a Bachelor of Technology in Web Development from Veris IBTA University.
