James Freis

James Freis is a special advisor at MoonPay. James has previously worked as counsel at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, managing director at Deutsche Börse Group, and in various other positions at CRINDATA LLC, Market Integrity Solutions LLC, and Market Integrity Solutions LLC.

Freis has advised global banks, financial services providers, emerging payments technology companies, and private equity firms on regulatory and enforcement issues. James has also been responsible for overseeing global compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and company policies at the group level.
