Matthew Johnson

Matthew Johnson, CFP® CLU® ChFC® AEP® currently serves as Vice President of Advisory Solutions at Moors & Cabot since July 2023. Prior to this role, Matthew worked at Aviance Capital Partners from January 2018 to July 2023 as a Senior Investment Advisor, holding certifications as a CFP, AEP, and ChFC. Matthew's career began at Citi, where between August 2003 and January 2018, various positions included Financial Advisor in Citi Personal Wealth Management, Business Banking Officer, and Citigold Personal Banker. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises from Syracuse University's Martin J. Whitman School of Management, along with an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from Fordham University and additional education from The Wharton School in 2017.
