Benjamin Crestel

Benjamin Crestel is an experienced professional in the field of artificial intelligence and quantitative research, currently serving as Vice President at Morgan Stanley since February 2023. Prior to this role, Benjamin worked at Borealis AI from June 2021 to February 2023 as a Senior Research Engineer, focusing on AI product development for RBC's Capital Markets division and leading strategic initiatives for office expansion in Montreal. Benjamin also held positions at ServiceNow as a Staff Machine Learning Scientist, leading an Unsupervised Anomaly Detection project, and at Element AI as an Applied Research Scientist, where contributions included time series capabilities and AI solutions for asset managers. Earlier experience includes roles as a Quantitative Researcher at Dimensional Fund Advisors, Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin, and teaching positions at Simon Fraser University.
