Sally Sutherland

Sally Sutherland, also known as McGoldrick, is an experienced Governance Adviser at Morgan Stanley since February 2021. In addition to this role, Sutherland serves as Court Director at the Edinburgh Academy and is a member of the Board of Trustees for both the Edinburgh Academy Foundation, focusing on fundraising and support for bursaries, and the Edinburgh Students' Charities Appeal until April 2023. Sutherland has a notable background at RBS from 1996 to 2019, where responsibilities included implementing governance structures post-reform, providing strategic governance and regulatory advice, and managing corporate legal matters including joint ventures and acquisitions. Earlier legal experience includes positions at Dundas & Wilson LLP and Gouldens Solicitors. Sutherland holds an LLB from Newcastle University and completed Law Society Finals at the College of Law York.
