Dan Toomey

Dan Toomey is an accomplished media professional with a diverse background in journalism and video production. Currently serving as Head of Macro at Morning Brew since February 2021, Dan is responsible for creating engaging video content. Prior experience includes working as a Desk Assistant at ABC News during the 2020 Presidential Election, managing a student newsroom at USC Annenberg Media, and interning in various roles at HBO, CNN, and NBC. Dan's early career also featured work as a Criminal Data Journalist for Crosstown LA, where data-driven stories on Los Angeles crime trends garnered attention from major media outlets. Dan holds a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California.
