Tom McKay

Tom McKay is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in political reporting and communications. Currently serving as a Senior Reporter at Morning Brew since March 2022, Tom previously held the position of Staff Writer at G/O Media from August 2017 to March 2022 and at Mic from November 2012 to August 2017, focusing on political topics. Earlier in their career, Tom worked as a Campaign Outreach Consultant for the Hoboken Mayor's Office and as Finance Data Director for Clyde Williams for Congress. Tom's background also includes roles as Maintenance Foreman at New College of Florida and Vice President of External Affairs for the New College Student Alliance, where responsibilities included representing the college at state conferences. Tom earned a B.A. in Political Science from New College of Florida between 2007 and 2011.
