Andrew Holmes

Andrew Holmes is an experienced operations leader with a robust background in retail management across various organizations. Currently serving as Operations Director for Morrisons in the Channel Islands since November 2024, Andrew previously held the position of Director of Retail Operations at Sandpiper CI and has extensive experience from roles at the food WAREHOUSE and BinDawood Group as Group Operations Director. Andrew has a proven track record of driving growth and operational excellence, exemplified by managing a significant expansion of Danube stores in Saudi Arabia. Previous roles at Asda and Tesco included senior management positions, overseeing large teams and substantial turnover, with a strong focus on achieving profit targets and store transformation. Andrew's early career at Lidl in Germany included managing multiple districts and significant financial performance. Andrew holds a Post Graduate degree in Food and Grocery Management from The University of Edinburgh.
