Matt Harris

Matt Harris is the current Trustee at Morton Arboretum. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Executive at Arbor Day Foundation from January 2003 to February 2022. During their time there, they led the Foundation to unprecedented growth and impact by focusing on great people, clarity of direction, strong culture, high expectations and individual accountability. Some of their notable accomplishments include increasing annual revenues to well over $100MM and expanding work to more than 55 countries. Matt was also recognized for achieving world-class levels of employee engagement. Before that, they served as the Vice President at MDS Pharma Services from January 1997 to December 2002. Matt also has experience as a Director at Harris Laboratories from January 1994 to December 2002.
