Georgia Tsagkogeorga

Georgia Tsagkogeorga is an accomplished bioinformatician currently serving as Principal Bioinformatician at Mosaic TX since January 2025. Previously, Georgia held various roles at Milner Therapeutics Institute and STORM Therapeutics Limited, including Principal Scientist in Bioinformatics. Responsibilities included multi-omics data integration to identify and prioritize novel drug targets. Prior experience includes postdoctoral research positions at Queen Mary University of London and University of Montpellier, focusing on evolutionary genomics, phylogenomics, and population genetics, with projects funded by the European Research Council and the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council. Georgia earned a PhD in Evolutionary Biology and holds both a Master's degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology.
