Alexander Zhukovsky

Alexander Zhukovsky is a distinguished professional in the fields of computer vision and natural language processing. Since September 2013, Alexander has served as the Head of the Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing Laboratory at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University), while also fulfilling the role of Assistant Professor, teaching courses on programming and image analysis. As the Head of the Computer Vision Research Group at ABBYY since March 2020, Alexander has further contributed to advancements in technology. Previous positions include CTO at NVI Solutions and Team Lead at Smart Engines Ltd., where Alexander focused on R&D in computer vision and machine learning. Earlier experience also includes a role as a researcher and developer at Cognitive Technologies Group. Alexander holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, as well as Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Applied Mathematics and related fields, all from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
