Dan Ochiva is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in journalism and content creation, particularly within the film, video, and digital media sectors. As the Owner and President of NYC Production & Post News since 2009, Dan has focused on delivering news and trends crucial to content creators in the New York City area, leveraging two decades of industry insights from a prior role as a journalist at Millimeter magazine. Additionally, Dan serves as a Contributing Writer for the Motion Picture Editors Guild and has been a Principal at Digital Editorial Industries since 2007. Dan's career also includes significant tenure at Millimeter magazine as a Senior Contributing Editor and Technical Editor, as well as a role at Penton Media as Sr Editor/Tech Editor. Dan holds two Master of Fine Arts degrees from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, specializing in Film & Video and Cinematography and Film/Video Production.
