Josie Kressner is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in data analytics, transportation planning, and community development. Currently serving as Strategic Advisor and Senior Vice President of Data at Motionworks International since January 2021, Josie provides insights on population movements. Previously, as Head of Data and Advisor at Illoominus from August 2021 to May 2024, Josie contributed to empowering organizations in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies. Josie founded Transport Foundry in November 2013, focusing on developing the CityCast transportation planning tool, and conducted significant research in transportation engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2014. Additionally, Josie co-founded Revive Atlanta Initiative Inc., a volunteer-based non-profit organization enhancing community assets through sustainable initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and an MS from Georgia Institute of Technology, along with dual degrees in Civil Engineering and Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis.
