Francis Luyckx

Francis Luyckx currently serves as Engineering Manager at Movu Robotics since July 2024, following a successful tenure as Design Engineering Manager at Van Hool, where responsibilities included overseeing design and construction engineering for coaches and public transport buses. Prior experience includes leading the maintenance and project management department for Maritime Infrastructure at Antwerp Port Authority and managing a centralized engineering department in various disciplines. Luyckx also held the role of Group Manager IT at General Motors, overseeing IT teams across multiple European plants, and has an extensive background at Opel Belgium in various engineering and managerial capacities. Educational qualifications include M.Sc. degrees in Industrial Management and Electromechanical Engineering from KU Leuven.
