Alison Hart

Alison Hart, PhD, currently serves as a Staff Chemist at MRIGlobal, focusing on the development of new routes for active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) synthesis, expanding methods from milligram to kilogram scale while promoting greener practices and compliance with GLP and GMP standards. Prior to this, Alison Hart was a Graduate Student at the University of Southern Mississippi, where research centered on efficient synthetic methodologies for natural product synthons under Dr. Julie Pigza. Alison Hart also gained experience as a Visiting Graduate Student in Computational Chemistry at the University of Georgia and held various internships at Cerner Corporation, Anheuser-Busch, and Cargill. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Southern Mississippi and dual Bachelor's degrees in Applied Mathematics and Chemistry from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
