Monica Encinas

Monica Encinas is an accomplished programme management professional with extensive experience in overseeing large-scale projects, particularly in the fields of gender sensitivity, migration, and food security. Currently serving as the Head of Programme Management at MSI Reproductive Choices since April 2023, Monica previously held roles at Plan International UK, including Senior Programme Management Specialist, where responsibilities encompassed managing a project portfolio valued at £57 million and delivering grant management support for institutional projects. Additional experience includes strategic direction and proposal development for the British & Irish Agencies Afghanistan Group, as well as financial oversight and project reporting in earlier positions. Monica holds an MA in Migration Studies from the University of Sussex and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto.
