Tomson Hecky

Tomson Hecky, M.Sc., P.Geo is a seasoned hydrogeologist with extensive experience in managing various hydrogeological projects across different sectors. Currently serving as a Hydrogeologist at Matrix Solutions Inc. since June 2021, Tomson has led workflows that enhance project-specific problem-solving and decision-making while managing timelines and budgets for numerous hydrogeology initiatives. Prior roles include Project Manager at EXP, where responsibilities included overseeing large-scale drilling projects and conducting hydrogeological assessments, and serving as an Environmental Scientist at BluMetric Environmental Inc., managing multi-faceted field programs and submitting water-taking permit applications. Tomson holds a Master's Degree in Hydrogeology and Water Resource Science and a Bachelor's Degree in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Waterloo, which laid a strong foundation for a career dedicated to environmental integrity and water resource management.
