Matthew Walters

Matthew Walters has extensive experience in higher education technology and instruction. Currently an Adjunct Instructor at Michigan Technological University since November 2019, Matthew supports first-year students in developing personal and academic success strategies. As an Information Technology Operations Manager, Matthew focuses on creating effective teams to meet the computing needs of 1,600 faculty and staff. Previously, Matthew served in various managerial roles at the University of Michigan from July 2005 to June 2019, including leading enterprise software services, IT asset management, and guiding IT operations for the School of Social Work. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Michigan.
