Sigmund S. Kielland

Sigmund S. Kielland is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Multiconsult since December 2024. Prior to this role, Sigmund was a Board Member and Sub-Programme Coordinator for the EERA Joint Programme on Energy Storage and held the position of Business Developer focusing on battery technology at Institutt for energiteknikk, where responsibilities included aligning industry demand with research on next-generation batteries. Additionally, Sigmund served as Head of the Board for the Romerike battery network, emphasizing second-life battery solutions. Previous experience includes consulting for THEMA Consulting Group, teaching assistance at NTNU, and various roles in project management and digitalization. Sigmund holds a Master’s degree in Nanotechnology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and has completed an exchange program at Stellenbosch University.
