Tim Gent

Tim Gent is an experienced technical leader currently serving as the Technical Team Lead at Multiverse since October 2021, focused on developing apprenticeship solutions with Elixir and Phoenix. Previously, Tim held key positions such as Software Engineer at IQVIA and Technical Team Lead at WPF Therapy, along with leading teams at the UK Home Office in various capacities including Interim Head of Software Engineering. Tim's extensive experience encompasses leading complex projects, utilizing modern technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and various programming languages including Java and Scala. Tim's career also includes significant roles at HM Revenue & Customs, where project management and organizational design played a major role, and experience in technical support and development at Experian QAS. Tim holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics from the University of Nottingham.
