Daniel Ruigrok

Daniel Ruigrok is an experienced urban planner and designer with a diverse background in both academic and professional settings. Currently serving as a member of the Planadviesraad at Het Oversticht and an external urban planning advisor for Gemeente Zaanstad since July 2022, Ruigrok has held multiple prominent roles, including urban planner at blau | stedenbouw en landschap and a member of the quality team for Gemeente Noordwijk. In addition, a long-standing relationship with Hogeschool van Amsterdam as a guest lecturer has complemented a rich history of practical experience in urban design and consultancy, notably through a partnership at elberfeld spanning 17 years. Ruigrok’s educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Urban Planning from the Academie van Bouwkunst and an engineering degree in Planning and Spatial Development from Breda University of Applied Sciences.
