Rachel McKenzie

Rachel McKenzie is an experienced professional in community development and engagement, currently serving as a Tutor in the Community Development team at Murdoch University since January 2019. With a consulting role in the not-for-profit sector since 2008, Rachel has a robust background in project development, facilitation, coordination, and funding. Previous positions include Coordinator and Community Engagement Officer at Mullewa Community Resource Centre, Senior Project Officer for Community Wellbeing at the Shire of East Pilbara, and Coordinator of Community Cultural Development at the City of Greater Geraldton, among others. Rachel holds a Graduate Certificate of Artistic Therapies in Art Therapy from Sophia College and has pursued studies at Claremont School of Art and the University of Tasmania, further enriching expertise in community-focused initiatives.
