Narendra N P is a Research Scientist at Murf AI since April 2023, specializing in text-to-speech synthesis. Previously, as a Data Scientist at RingCentral from March 2021 to May 2023, Narendra focused on conversational AI, particularly accent conversion to a native US accent. From January 2017 to August 2020, Narendra served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aalto University, working on paralinguistic speech processing and the analysis and classification of dysarthric speech for telemonitoring applications. Earlier experience includes developing a bilingual text-to-speech system at SRIC, IIT-Kharagpur from July 2009 to December 2011. Narendra holds a Ph.D. in Speech Processing and related fields from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, alongside a Master's Degree in the same disciplines and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
