Lauren Bush

Lauren Bush is an accomplished legal professional with a diverse background in education law. Currently serving as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Murfreesboro since July 2023, Lauren has previously held key positions such as Staff Attorney for Wilson County Schools and Deputy General Counsel for the Tennessee Department of Education. With extensive experience at both Wilson County Schools and Rutherford County Schools, Lauren has developed and overseen policies and services focused on student wellbeing and compliance with educational regulations. Lauren's early legal experience includes roles in the Sumner County Law Director's Office, Nashville General Hospital, and the Tennessee Attorney General's Office, enriching a robust legal foundation supported by a Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law.
