Lourdes Rubio

Lourdes Rubio has extensive experience in production management and social responsibility, currently serving as the Head of Production and Social Responsibility at the Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA) since September 2007. Lourdes has overseen the Programa de Responsabilidad Social since 2017 and achieved the Biosphere Sustainable Tourism Commitment in 2019. Previous roles include Head of Processes Department and Project Manager at Bertelsmann (VAW-arvato), where Lourdes managed publishing projects for the wind energy sector, and environmental engineering positions focusing on research and development as well as impact assessments. Lourdes holds multiple degrees in engineering, project management, and change management, reflecting a strong academic background in both mechanical and environmental processes.
