Tarrah Cooper Wright

Tarrah Cooper Wright has dedicated their career to public service. Tarrah began as a press assistant and field organizer for Obama for America in 2008. Tarrah then went on to work as a special assistant to the secretary at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, they became deputy press secretary for Chicago For Rahm Emanuel. The following year, they were appointed press secretary for Mayor Rahm Emanuel, a position they held until 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as managing director at Mercury. Tarrah is currently a trustee at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.

Tarrah Cooper Wright has a Bachelor in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and they are currently attending the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Education.
