Karim N Kanji

Karim N Kanji is an experienced professional with a robust history of leadership in various organizations. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Toronto since December 2022, Kanji also holds positions on the Board of Directors and Governance and Nomination Committee at Workman Arts since January 2021, and the Board of Governors at JA Central Ontario since July 2019. Additionally, Kanji is an Officer and Vice President at the NATO Association of Canada, a member of the Governance Committee and Board at Sistema Toronto, and the Vice President of Seventh Stage Theatre Productions. As President and CEO of Sutter Hill Properties since March 1992, and with past roles including the co-ownership of The Innovative Shapecasting Group and DECIEM, Kanji has a diverse skill set and a strong commitment to governance and arts-related initiatives, having also served as Chairman of the Council of Fellows at The Glenn Gould Foundation.
