Austin Green

Austin Green is an experienced professional with a diverse background in guest facilitation, performance, and media production. Currently serving as a Facilitator, Guest Experiences at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago since September 2018, Austin delivers engaging tours and science demonstrations while training new staff members. Prior to this role, Austin performed stand-up comedy across Chicago, showcasing original material at notable events. Experience at Amazon involved customer service and inventory management, complemented by a passion for video game development, evidenced by independent projects and coursework. Academic achievements include a Bachelor’s degree in Cinema and Media Studies from the University of Chicago, where a thesis on video game narratives was completed, and participation in a Metcalf Fellowship to co-create a student film. Additional training in coding and improvisational theatre further enriches Austin's skill set.
