Policy and Advocacy

The Policy and Advocacy team at the Muslim Public Affairs Council Foundation is responsible for designing and executing legislative and issue advocacy campaigns to influence policies affecting American Muslims. They work closely with legislators, government agencies, and thought leaders to address key issues like national security, civil liberties, immigration, public safety, and religious freedom. The team also provides media analysis and develops strategic messaging to shape public opinion and advises the entertainment industry on more nuanced portrayals of Muslims and Islam. Additionally, they build coalitions with diverse communities to foster active citizenship and strengthen American pluralism.
