Benson Porter

Benson Porter is a seasoned leader in the financial services industry with extensive experience in credit unions and banking management. Currently serving as a Board Member at Mutual of Enumclaw and Asa Technologies, Corp., and an Advisor at Black Dragon Capital, Benson Porter focuses on technologies that benefit credit unions and community-based financial institutions. Previously, Porter held the position of President & CEO at BECU, overseeing a $30 billion credit union, and served as a Board of Directors member and former Chairman at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines. Additional roles include President & CEO at First Tech Federal Credit Union, EVP & Chief Administrative Officer at Washington Mutual Bank, and VP of Legislative Counsel at Key Bank. Benson Porter's educational background includes a BA in Economics from Whitman College and a Juris Doctorate from Seattle University.
