Susan French

Susan French is an experienced advisor and executive who has spent their career in payments, strategy, API evangelism, digital commerce, and FinTech. Susan is currently the VP and Global Head of the Visa Developer Program, which they created and launched in 2016. In this role, Susan is responsible for the program's API strategy and road map, product design and management, go-to-market plan and execution, and internal and external evangelism.

Prior to joining Visa, Susan was an independent consultant for three years, during which time they helped several companies grow their businesses by developing marketing strategies, targeting new business opportunities, and leading business architecture and user experience design teams. Her most notable clients include an emerging eBusiness systems integrator, a top 15 mutual fund company, and Scient, an outsourcer for financial services e-business applications.

Susan has a deep understanding of the payments industry and the needs of developers who want to create innovative payment experiences for their customers. Susan is a passionate advocate for the Visa Developer Program and its ability to open up the capabilities of the Visa network to external developers.

Susan French received a Master of Science in Operations Research and Operations Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Systems from Arizona State University.
