Shefali Desai

Shefali Desai is an accomplished executive in the field of molecular biology and diagnostics, currently serving as Executive Director at Mylab Discovery Solutions Pvt. Ltd. since October 2012. Desai has extensive experience, having held leadership positions such as Director of Molecular Pathology and R&D at iGenatic Diagnostics from January 2014 to February 2016, and Chief Molecular Biology at both SRL Diagnostics and Piramal Diagnostics Services from 2005 to 2012. Additional roles include Molecular Biologist at Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre (2002-2004) and Scientific Officer at various institutions, including Tata Memorial Centre and Cancer Research Institute, spanning multiple years. Desai holds a Master’s degree in Applied Biology from the University of Mumbai and has further qualifications in business management.
