Sanyaa Sothinathan

Sanyaa Sothinathan is a dedicated physiotherapist currently working at Athletic Advantage Physiotherapy and Wellness and Myodetox since May 2023 and October 2022, respectively. Sanyaa has gained valuable experience through various roles, including as a student physical therapist at several organizations such as Providence Healthcare, Sunnybrook, Apple Creek Sports Medicine Centre, and Athlete's Care Sports Medicine Centres. Prior experience includes working as a chiropractic assistant at Harbourfront Chiropractic, where Sanyaa conducted patient intakes and assisted with exercises. Sanyaa also contributed as a teaching assistant at the University of Toronto, facilitating cadaver labs for undergraduate students, and as an orthopaedic research student at Toronto Western Hospital, focusing on studies related to Osteoarthritis. Sanyaa holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology with High Honours and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto.
