Tim Pernetti is one of the most accomplished and respected executives in the sports industry. Currently the President of IMG Academy, one of the nation’s leading preparatory boarding schools and sports training facilities, Pernetti previously served as President of IMG College, Chief Business Officer of New York City FC, Athletic Director at Rutgers University, and as an executive with ABC Sports and CBS Sports. He is credited with negotiating the agreement for Rutgers to join the Big Ten Conference in 2014.
Pernetti sits on the board of directors of the REED Academy, a school in Oakland, New Jersey, serving children with autistic spectrum disorder. Pernetti also sits on the Board of Directors for the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, and Team LeGrand, the recently formed foundation of former Rutgers Football Player, Eric LeGrand. He and his wife Danielle have three children.
