Erin Prangley is a seasoned public policy professional with extensive experience in advocating for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, women's rights, and educational and economic equity. Currently serving as the Director of Public Policy for the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities since September 2017, Erin is responsible for implementing strategies to advance key legislative goals. Previous roles include Associate Director for Government Relations at the American Association of University Women, where Erin focused on translating policy priorities into legislative actions, and several positions in the U.S. House of Representatives, culminating in the role of Deputy Chief of Staff. Erin’s career also includes founding a law firm and providing legislative analysis to advance bipartisan initiatives for women's issues. Erin holds a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Southern California.
